September Lake

“九月”与彭雪枫将军的一生有着特殊的关系。彭雪枫1907年9月出生于河南省镇平县；1926年9月加入中国共产党；1941年9月与林颖结婚；1944年9月在河南省夏邑县牺牲。“九月湖”占地75亩，公园的主要景点以湖为中心布置，环湖一周，能使人们在欣赏美景的同时，全面了解彭雪枫将军的生平事迹，受到深刻的爱国主义教育。
“September” means a lot to General Peng Xuefeng. In September, 1907, Peng was born in Zhenping County, Henan Province. In September, 1926, he joined the Chinese Communist Party. In September, 1941, he married Lin Ying. And finally in September, 1944, he passed away in Xayi County, Henan Province. The park's main attractions are arranged around “September Lake”, which covers an area of 75 acres, enabling people to enjoy the beautiful scenery while gaining a comprehensive understanding of General Peng Xuefeng's life story and receiving a profound patriotic education.
